6/03/2009 - JTG tested against factory ford and Holden kits by Sydney Morning Herald
The Sydney Morning Herald performed a back to back test using the different systems and tested fuel ecconomy, Performance adn drivability. In all cases our JTG Liquid Injection system came out on top. Below is a few inserts from the article.
"Data from our comparison test - which incorporated a mix of city, country and performance driving - backed the claims of the more advanced LPG system.
The aftermarket Commodore used an average of 19.3L/100km, while the factory version used 25.9L/100km, which is 11.7L/100km higher than its official combined fuel figure of 14.2L/100km.
The Falcon fared worse. It used a staggeringly high 48.7L/100km (its official figure is 14.9L/100km).
"If performance matters to you, though, the aftermarket Commodore is the pick of the bunch.
The liquid-injection Commodore sprinted from 0-100km/h in 9.5 seconds, which was four-tenths of a second quicker than the Falcon (9.9 seconds) and 1.3seconds quicker than the vapour-injected Commodore.
The aftermarket Commodore felt quicker on the road, too. Its throttle response is noticeably more urgent than its LPG rivals"
